Weekly Challenge

We have started a new series called "The Power Within: Spiritual Life & Formation in Christ."  This past Saturday we started with the basics by identifying what the Gospel is, what it provides, and how it can be obtained.  Pure and simple it is about Jesus; He being crucified for our sins and raised from the dead.  Without Him we have no access to a spiritual life.

We looked at three main passages: John 3:14-18, 1 Corinthians 15:1-4, and Ephesians 2:1-10.  In Ephesians we learned that we are God's workmanship, created for good works that He has already prepared for us to walk in.  It is incredible to think that He has already laid out work for us to do.

The Challenge:
One of the works God has laid out for us as a class is to minister to the two Lake Rockwall Estate families we have come to know over the past 7 months.  Please pray fervently for our class, how we should proceed in ministering to them, pray for wisdom for the leaders of our class, pray for a God-sized work to be done within the families as well as the community.
