During LG on Saturday we learned what God’s word says about revenge,
payback, evil for good, evil for evil, and good for evil. Our main passages included Proverbs 17:13, Proverbs
20:22, and Proverbs 25:21-22.
I really enjoyed the discussion on society responses, biblical examples,
and why it is tough not to seek revenge.
To close, we read Romans 12:17-21 and Matthew 5:38-48.
My
challenge to you this week is to read these verses again and meditate on the
following questions:
If you adopted Jesus’ attitude, how would your life be different?
If you embraced Jesus’ teaching, how would you be different at home? At work? During your commute?
If you followed Paul’s instructions, how would your life be different?
Be intentional and have a thankful heart.
